   Deputy Health Minister Dato Hanifah Hajar Taib said the Health Ministry's outreach tour will continue to identify real health needs at the grassroots, especially in rural Sarawak.    An unoccupied house at Block A of the Sundar government quarters in Lawas, Sarawak, was about 90 percent destroyed in a fire last night. The fire was reported around 8pm and the Lawas fire station arrived at 8.29pm. No victims were involved and the fire was brought under control by 9pm.

6. Lawas hospital project to be handed over Sept 14, says Awang Tengah

   The new Lawas District Hospital is expected to be handed over to the Public Works and Health Ministries on Sept 14, Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan said during a site inspection on Tuesday. He said the facility, which includes a 17-station dialysis unit, will improve healthcare access for Lawas residents and reduce the need to seek treatment outside the district.
