1. Pahang royals urge heat precautions after UiTM student dies following campus run

   The Sultan and Tengku Ampuan of Pahang have advised the public to take precautions against hot weather after a UiTM student died. The student collapsed during an endurance challenge at the UiTM Jengka campus on Sept 4 and died in a Temerloh hospital. The royal couple also conveyed condolences and prayed for the recovery of other affected participants.

2. Seven UiTM students hospitalised, outdoor KKEC 2026 activities cancelled after heat incident in Jengka

   Seven UiTM students are still receiving treatment in Pahang hospitals following a heat-related incident during a tough road race at the KKEC 2026 program in Jengka Campus. One student died in the incident, and all outdoor activities for the program have been cancelled. The UiTM Vice-Chancellor said the university is cooperating with authorities on the investigation.
