Penang High Court declares missing Malaysian doctor dead after 2024 India river incident

The High Court in Penang has declared Dr Balraj Sethi, a Malaysian who went missing in India in September 2024, as dead. Balraj disappeared after jumping into the Alaknanda River to rescue his father, who survived. The court issued the declaration based on evidence presented by his father.
