Kampung Numbak fire: RM3,000 aid for each Malaysian family
The Sabah State Government announced RM3,000 in aid for each Malaysian family affected by the Kampung Numbak fire in Kota Kinabalu, along with materials worth RM20,000 to rebuild their homes. Chief Minister Hajiji Noor made the announcement while visiting victims at the Dewan Serbaguna Likas evacuation centre. He also commented that the planned US military base on Balabac Island in the Philippines should not concern Sabah.
