Zverev survives scare to advance at US Open
Alexander Zverev came from behind to beat Lorenzo Sonego in a nearly five-hour match in the first round of the US Open at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York. He won 6-4, 3-6, 6-7 (7-9), 7-5, 6-4 to avoid becoming the first top men's seed to lose in the first round in 23 years.
