SMART on standby for Nepal flood rescue mission, says commander
SMART Commander Abdul Manaf Che Isa said the team's personnel and logistics are on standby for a possible deployment to Nepal following the flood disaster. The Nepalese government has yet to determine the number of personnel required, and the mission's focus could be on search and rescue or humanitarian aid. The team will also assist the Malaysian Embassy in Nepal in coordinating aid for affected Malaysians.
