Ipoh factory raid: 175 foreign workers detained in immigration crackdown

A raid by immigration officers on factories in Ipoh, Perak, on Thursday night led to the detention of 175 foreign workers suspected of immigration offences. Workers were seen fleeing and hiding in panic, with some sustaining minor injuries. Most of those detained were from Bangladesh, with others from Myanmar and Vietnam.
