UiTM to review endurance event safety after student dies, 8 hospitalised in Jengka

Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) will review safety procedures for its Komander Kesatria Endurance Challenge after a 21-year-old student died and eight others were hospitalised. The incident occurred at UiTM's Jengka campus in Pahang, with the student succumbing at Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Hospital in Temerloh. Preliminary investigations point to heat-related problems and a lack of oxygen.
