Ex-TV Assistant Director Jailed 6 Months, Fined RM20,000 for Bribery

China Press Shah Alam, Selangor

A former assistant director of a state television station was convicted on two counts of corruption for accepting RM18,000 in bribes seven years ago. The Shah Alam Sessions Court sentenced her to six months in jail and a RM20,000 fine, but allowed a stay of execution pending her appeal.
