TTSH-led sepsis initiative cuts antibiotic wait time, expands to 62 wards

The Straits Times Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore

Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) in Singapore has launched 'Safe from Sepsis', a nurse-led initiative to detect and treat sepsis earlier. The initiative, which was piloted successfully, aims to ensure at least 80% of patients receive antibiotics within 180 minutes, and has been expanded to 62 wards and other care facilities.
