Sibu festival organiser defends haze decision, cites traders' livelihoods

The Borneo Cultural Festival organiser in Sibu has defended continuing the event despite haze concerns, saying it is a vital income source for traders. A spokesman said life must go on and that stopping the festival would burden those who depend on it. The event runs until Sept 14.
