MBPP seizes goods from unlicensed laundry in George Town

An unlicensed laundry operating on Gat Lebuh Macallum in George Town was raided by the Penang Island City Council (MBPP) on Monday. Foreign workers at the premises could not produce identification, and the case will be referred to the immigration department. MBPP also seized 38 bundles of cloth and equipment blocking the public walkway, and the ministry issued compounds for an expired weighing machine and missing price displays.
