Sarawak helicopter crash pilot's father recounts final video call with son

Malay Mail Long Lellang Short Take-Off and Landing Airport (STOLport), Sarawak

The father of Captain Zainol Afiq Bee Sham, the pilot killed in a helicopter crash in Sarawak, said his son had a video call with his mother for over an hour the night before the tragedy. The family is travelling to Miri for DNA testing and to make arrangements to bring his remains home to Senawang for burial. The BO-105 helicopter crashed near the Long Lellang STOLport in Ulu Baram, killing all five people on board.
