Police cripple RM2.4b drug ring, seize lab in Puncak Alam; five charged

The Malaysian Reserve Puncak Alam, Selangor

Police crippled a major drug processing and distribution syndicate in an operation in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur, seizing drugs worth an estimated RM2.4 billion and uncovering a laboratory in Puncak Alam. Five people, including a Taiwanese national believed to be the chemist, have been charged in court under the Dangerous Drugs Act.
