WeChat fixes security flaw after US firm demonstrates AI-powered hack
Tencent, the operator of WeChat, said it has fixed software weaknesses identified by US cybersecurity firm Calif. Calif demonstrated how AI could be used to build a worm that could spread between phones via WeChat calls. Tencent said the fix is live for all users and there is no evidence the issue was exploited.
