Sarawak minister urges broader aviation safety review after fatal Long Lellang helicopter crash
Sarawak Transport Minister Lee Kim Shin has called for a broader review of aviation safety measures for Flying Doctor Service operations following a helicopter crash near the Long Lellang STOLport in Ulu Baram. The crash killed a pilot and four Ministry of Health personnel. Lee visited the Emergency Operations Centre at Miri Airport and met with the victims' families.
