Umno deputy president says Johor, Negri Sembilan wins not a true measure of public support

Umno deputy president Mohamad Hasan said the party's victories in the Johor and Negri Sembilan state polls should not be seen as a full measure of public acceptance. He pointed to the party's defeat in Sabah as evidence of a complex and unsettled political landscape that requires unique strategies for each constituency. He made the remarks while launching the Wanita Umno, Umno Youth and Puteri Umno delegates' conferences in Kuala Lumpur.
