Group urges review of Sarawak rural healthcare after fatal Flying Doctor Service crash in Long Lellang

Following a fatal helicopter crash in Long Lellang, Ulu Baram that killed five people, the Malaysian Indigenous Peoples Network (JOAS) has called for a comprehensive review of healthcare delivery in Sarawak's interior. JOAS president Hellan Empaing urged the government to move beyond relying on helicopters and to accelerate infrastructure development like roads and healthcare facilities.
