Hewett and Reid reach US Open wheelchair singles quarter-finals
At the US Open in New York, Britain's Alfie Hewett and Gordon Reid both advanced to the men's wheelchair singles quarter-finals on Wednesday. Hewett beat Spain's Daniel Caverzaschi 6-0 6-2, while Reid overcame France's Stephane Houdet 6-3 5-7 6-2. Andy Lapthorne and Greg Slade lost their quad singles first-round matches.
