Japan will deploy about 10,000 police officers to secure the opening ceremony of the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games on 19 September. Measures include a drone no-fly zone within one kilometre of the ceremony venue and a centre to tackle lone-wolf terror threats. Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako are expected to attend, while athletes will be housed on a cruise ship at Nagoya Port.
