TNB prioritises worker skills in energy transition

Tenaga Nasional Bhd is focusing on workforce capability and skills to support the national energy transition, according to its Chief Human Resources Officer Feldatun Sharif. She said TNB's focus has shifted from headcount to the capabilities the business needs, including technologies such as battery energy storage systems, smart meters and digital grid monitoring. The statement was made in conjunction with her participation in The Economic Times Future Forward Malaysia 2026 summit in Kuala Lumpur.
