EgyptAir plans first direct Singapore-Cairo flights from early 2027
EgyptAir has announced plans to launch a direct service linking Cairo, Singapore and Sydney from early 2027, which would be Singapore's first direct air link to North Africa. The proposal, made jointly with Changi Airport Group and Sydney Airport, is subject to regulatory approvals. Changi handled a record 70 million passengers in 2025.
