Ex-PDRM pilot: emergency jumps need over 1,000 feet
Former Royal Malaysia Police pilot Capt Mohd Ezairol Rezan Zainol said an aircraft must be above 1,000 feet for any emergency jump to be safe. He was responding to social media questions over why five victims of the BO-105 helicopter crash in Ulu Baram, Sarawak did not jump before the aircraft crashed and caught fire last Tuesday. The crash killed pilot Capt Zainol Afiq Sham Bee and four Health Ministry staff travelling to Long Lellang.
