Thailand cuts Malaysian visa-free stay to 30 days from Sept 15
Thailand will shorten the visa-free stay for Malaysian passport holders from 60 days to 30 days starting Sept 15, part of revised entry rules affecting dozens of countries. Malaysia's ambassador to Thailand said the change is unlikely to hit most travellers, whose average stay is about 4.3 days, but advised those planning longer visits to apply for an e-Visa before departure.
