Bukit Aman: busting drug labs needs months of intelligence

Bukit Aman's narcotics chief says dismantling clandestine drug laboratories requires months of intelligence gathering, tracing precursor chemicals from entry points like Port Klang to their final destinations. He spoke after visiting the Bachok Nada rehabilitation centre, and cited a recent raid in Bandar Puncak Alam where 13.17 tonnes of synthetic drugs worth RM2.41 billion were seized after six months of intelligence work.
