Perak woman held in New Delhi with 15kg cannabis in luggage

A 22-year-old Malaysian woman from Perak was arrested at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi on Sept 4 after Delhi Customs found 15kg of cannabis hidden in 30 packages in her trolley bag. Bukit Aman's narcotics director said she had flown from KLIA on Batik Air flight OD205 and is being held by Delhi Customs pending trial under India's narcotics law. She has a prior drug-related record under Section 15 of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
