Six orangutans rescued from forest fires in West Kalimantan
Six orangutans, including two nursing infants, were rescued from fire-hit areas in the interior of West Kalimantan, Indonesia, over the past week. The operation brings the number of orangutans rescued in the province in a month to 15. Smoke from the Borneo forest fires has also affected Malaysia and Singapore.
