Selangor overall champions of Para SUKMA 2026, Amirudin hopes athletes reach world title

The closing ceremony of Para SUKMA 2026 was held at the Selangor International Trade Centre (STIC), with Selangor emerging as overall champions for the first time since the games began in 1982. Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said he hopes national para athletes will go on to become world champions, and noted the age limit of under 40 for athletes. Selangor collected 93 golds, 55 silvers and 52 bronzes, followed by Sabah and Sarawak.
