Zahid calls for early GE16, wants Umno to lead again

Umno president Zahid Hamidi repeated his call for GE16 to be held early in his policy speech at the party's general assembly at the Kuala Lumpur World Trade Centre. He said the blue wave is not just about making Umno a complement to the government, but about regaining the mandate to lead the country. Zahid also cited lessons from election results in Sabah, Johor and Negeri Sembilan ahead of GE16.
