Japan health minister visits Perkeso rehabilitation centre in Ipoh

Japan's Health Minister Kenichiro Ueno visited the Sultan Nazrin Shah PERKESO Rehabilitation Centre in Meru Raya, Ipoh, praising its vocational training and return-to-work model. He noted the centre's use of Japanese HAL rehabilitation technology and hoped it could be introduced to more Malaysian facilities. PERKESO officials said the visit could strengthen Malaysia-Japan cooperation in rehabilitation technology and training.
