SC monitors influencers giving unlicensed stock tips
Malaysia's Securities Commission is monitoring social media influencers who share stock and investment tips without a licence. Its head of investor protection, Jawahar Ali Ameer Ali, said action will be taken if there is enough evidence of guideline breaches, while Bursa Malaysia stressed the need to tell credible information from speculation.
