Vietnam competition body reviews Grab fares and commissions as drivers plan weekend stoppage
Vietnam's National Competition Commission has ordered Grab to hand over documents on how it sets fares, commissions, fees and driver deductions, and is seeking the same from other ride-hailing platforms. Vietnamese Grab drivers are calling a weekend work stoppage over commission rates they say are too high. The review follows Indonesia's move to cap two-wheel ride-hailing commissions at 8%, which Grab and GoTo agreed to from July 1.
