Sabah minister urges PTAs to guide students on safe Internet use

Sabah's education, science, technology and innovation minister Datuk James Ratib has called on parent-teacher associations to take a more active role in teaching students to use the Internet safely and responsibly. He said parents must keep track of their children's online activity, while teachers and PTAs should raise awareness of cybersecurity, online scams and cyberbullying. The state government will keep working with the Sabah State Education Department, MCMC and other partners on digital literacy in schools.
