CMCF opens 45-day public consultation on new Gaming Sub-Code
The Communications and Multimedia Content Forum of Malaysia is seeking public feedback on a proposed Gaming Sub-Code covering games accessible in Malaysia. The 45-day nationwide consultation, open until Oct 24, covers age classification, parental controls, in-game purchases, loot boxes, gacha mechanics, moderation and safeguards for young esports participants. Submissions will be reviewed before the code is finalised.
