MAIS brings Bidayuh customs to diaspora in Peninsular Malaysia
The Sarawak Native Customs Council (MAIS) held an outreach programme to bring the Bidayuh Adat 1994 closer to Bidayuh communities outside Sarawak. The event at Hotel Melia on Saturday (Sept 12) was co-organised with the Klang Valley branch of the Dayak Bidayuh National Association and drew 50 participants. MAIS chief Datuk Dr Neilson Ilan Mersat said feedback gathered will help ongoing codification and review of the customs.
