Mas survives Sierra Nevada penultimate stage to all but seal Vuelta a Espana title
Enric Mas of Movistar held off Primoz Roglic and other rivals on the brutal penultimate stage of the Vuelta a Espana on the sun-baked slopes of the Sierra Nevada on Saturday. The Spanish rider protected his 1 minute 37 second lead and will win his first Vuelta title on Sunday's ceremonial stage in Granada, becoming the first Spanish winner since Alberto Contador 12 years ago.
