Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei has called on artificial intelligence companies to slow the pace of developing powerful models, saying he is now convinced greater prudence is needed to address the risks. His comments follow the departure of researcher Jacob Coxon from Anthropic, who accused OpenAI and Anthropic of gambling with lives in the race towards self-improving superintelligence.
