F1 returns to Madrid after 45 years with new Madring circuit

Madrid is hosting Formula 1 for the first time in 45 years at the new 5.4km Madring circuit in Valdebebas, built near Barajas airport and the IFEMA exhibition centre. Fans welcomed the easier access compared to Barcelona, though some said they came more for the experience than the race itself.
