Republic Poly student to fly Singapore flag at WorldSkills drone contest in Shanghai

Shafriel Nur Iman, an 18-year-old aviation management student at Republic Polytechnic, will represent Singapore in the unmanned aerial systems category at the 48th WorldSkills Competition in Shanghai from Sept 22 to 27. The event marks the first time drone systems are featured at the competition, and he will face 10 rivals from countries including China, Japan and the UAE.
