MTPIN member urges Malaysia to act early on Super El Nino risk
National Climate Change Action Council (MTPIN) member Mogesh Sababathy has urged Malaysia to take early action against a possible Super El Nino. He warned that prolonged heat without rain could strain water supply, food, public health and the economy. He proposed coordinating planting schedules, checking irrigation systems and supporting farmers.
