Abang Johari: Sarawak's MA63 demands grounded in constitution, not excessive
Sarawak Premier Abang Johari Tun Openg said Sarawak has always been rational in pursuing its MA63 rights, basing demands on the Federal Constitution and the state's capacity. Speaking at a PBB Northern Zone convention in Miri, he said the PM had agreed Sabah and Sarawak should have one-third representation in the Dewan Rakyat, and that Sarawak proposed a special grant formula of 10 or five per cent of revenue depending on the country's fiscal position.
