Kuching associations hold敬老育幼 event, give out 126 red packets and 47 awards
The Kuching Padawan Fuzhou Association and the Kuching Simpang Tiga community association jointly held a 2026 filial piety and student award ceremony in Kuching today, distributing 126 red packets for the elderly and 47 academic awards for members' children. Organising chairman Yang Zhi Huang said the event aims to show respect and gratitude to elders and encourage students to continue striving and give back to society.
