MOTAC to seek allocations for state tourism upgrades, says Tiong

MOTAC will push for funding to help state governments upgrade existing tourist spots and develop new ones, its minister Tiong King Sing said at the opening of the Malaysia Cultural Festival 2026 at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa in Kuala Lumpur. The six-day festival runs until Wednesday and features traditional performances, cultural exhibitions and heritage displays from across the country.
