Jet fuel surge adds RM7.5bil to MAG costs, Malaysia Airlines fares up 30pct
Malaysia Aviation Group is facing up to RM7.5 billion in additional costs after jet fuel prices more than doubled following the Middle East conflict that began on Feb 28. The group has cut about 5% of flights, or 8,000 this year, and Malaysia Airlines fares have risen about 30% for domestic and international routes.
