Defendants in KSSA suit move to bar Ram Singh from acting for himself

In Kota Kinabalu, a group of defendants in a civil suit involving the Kinabalu Singh Sabha Association Sabah have applied to the High Court to stop plaintiff Datuk Ram Singh from representing himself as an advocate and solicitor. They also want his firm, Messrs Ram Singh & Co, removed, citing a conflict of interest because Ram is both a party and a material witness. The application was filed on Aug 28.
