Negeri Sembilan MB silent on meeting with Zahid over Proclamation Letter

Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Ismail Lasim refused to answer reporters' questions about his meeting with UMNO President Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi last Thursday. The meeting was held after Zahid said he wanted an explanation from Ismail over claims the MB was forced to sign a Proclamation Letter to dethrone the Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz. Ismail earlier launched the Negeri Sembilan Community Programme (MANES) and presented welfare aid at the MB's official residence in Seremban.
