Sabah backbenchers chief: 40pc revenue, seat demand need bipartisan backing
Sabah Legislative Assembly Backbenchers Club chairman Datuk Masiung Banah says the state's push for its 40 per cent net revenue entitlement and more parliamentary seats should get bipartisan support as it transcends politics. He noted Chief Minister Hajiji Noor raised the matter at the MA63 Implementation Action Council meeting in Kota Kinabalu on Sept 11, and welcomed Anwar Ibrahim's agreement to amend the Federal Constitution for more Sabah and Sarawak seats.
