Lawas Hospital handover: staffing to be added as resources allow

The newly completed 76-bed Lawas Hospital was handed over on Sept 14, with Deputy Health Minister Hanifah Hajar Taib saying staffing will be strengthened as resources allow. She hoped specialist doctors could eventually be permanently stationed there so residents rely less on distant hospitals such as Limbang and Miri.
