Businesswoman fined RM20,000 for tampering with SE meter at Penampang store
A 40-year-old businesswoman was fined RM20,000 by the Sessions Court in Kota Kinabalu after pleading guilty to tampering with a Sabah Electricity meter at her grocery store in Penampang. The court heard a bypass cable was found behind the meter, causing RM10,648.02 in revenue losses between October 2024 and January this year.
