German man gets 12 months' jail in Kota Kinabalu for illegal entry and obstructing immigration officer
A 40-year-old German national, Kuecuekboga Suleyman, was sentenced to 12 months' imprisonment by the Sessions Court in Kota Kinabalu on two counts of entering Sabah illegally and obstructing an immigration officer. He changed his plea to guilty midway through his trial, receiving six months' jail for each charge, to run consecutively from the date of conviction.
